Paris and Payton, two sisters, have lived very different lives. Paris is a drug-driven, sex-loving young woman who lives life on the edge; while Payton is an introvert who focuses all her time and energy into her schooling. But when the two sisters' worlds collide, Payton's seemingly perfect life is turned upside-down.

Paris, returning home from Los Angeles, proves to reignite the happiness from within their father - something that Payton had never been able to do. Now with their father neglecting the needs of the "good and proper" sister of the two, Payton, tension grows between the two siblings.

An unfortunate incident takes the life of their father away. Things reach a climax when Paris doesn't attend the funeral because, "she had better things to do." The two sisters have one last fight to try to rebuild any sort of relationship, but things get even more intense when bad choices turn into horrible consequences - revealing the hard truth behind a sweet oblivion.
